Hold and manipulate the electrode holder, welding torch or carbon arc gouge by hand to be qualified for offshore and onshore pipeline on standard and nonstandard materials, to be qualified for manual or semi-automatic standard and nonstandard processes carry out the welding work in compliance with safety, quality and in respect of environment rules.
Responsibilities
· Carry out the welding work in planned time and costs
· Ensure the proper implementation of approved operating procedure
· Ensure observation of the WPSs and welding method statements
· Ensure that safety standards are respected
· Ensure that production quality and quantity standards are observed and issue the hand over report
· Carry out the welding qualification procedure and welder qualification tests
· Carry out the welding repairs or cosmetic weld toe adjustment in case of errors
· Participate in pipe fitting
· Clean welds after each pass
· Maintain housekeeping
· Perform regular checks
· Respect environment and environmental rules
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years Similar Experience
Technical Certificates
Good Command of the English Language.
Adaptable, Conducive and Comprehensive.
